Well here are some updated pictures of the pico. Things are looking good and the corals are looking happy.
Let me know what you think of the updated tank layout compared to the old one.

Havent updated in a while. Added some more lps and zoas. Had bryopsis problems and removed the rock and soaked it in fw to kill everything off, let it dry for a few days and rinsed it, then had it sittin in the sump of my larger tank for a week and then added it back in.

I see, very cool though im starting my junior year at RMU. And i started with a ten freshmen year then went to a 15 the next year and now im downgrading and have a ten going again lol

Damn emerald crab went after the food my plate coral was eating and grabbed it by the mouth and flipped it over. He ripped off a section of the mouth and I am not sure how its going to do. I picked it up at the williamsport swap last year and it was around 1 inch.

sorry to hear about your plate but I think it should make it since I have heard and see worse that have survived. Take is really filling in well. How did you mount those candies to the overflow?

Yeah I hope it heals back up. The candycanes are mounted to a small flat piece of aquamend, and then superglued to the overflow. I needed something to fill that void in it haha.

Well I was out in wilkesbarre this weekend and picked up a coral I had my eye on for a while. Its smack dab in the center of the pic.

Picked it up from Finsanity.

This tank is going to be shut down in the next week or so. Deciding to transfer this tanks contents and most of my shallow 23gallon contents over to a 20L. The 20L will be an AIO just like this tank, just moved around and improved on.

New build will start once Petco has their tank sale, was just in there today and the employee said it should be going on sometime in the upcoming week.

Tank is now completely empty. Will be cleaned up and then put into storage until who knows when.

I know this thread is wicked old, but what did you use to dose the 5gallon?

No dosing at all on the tank. Just weekly water changes of 1-2gal.

But to answer your question we have a Red Sea 34 and a 9 gallon eheim as my nano.
