who said anything about carrying emptying 5-6g buckets by hand?! haha. what most will do is just put a uniseal on the bottom of the bucket and a pump inside it with a drain to the outside or drain nearby. in this way, your skimmer bucket fills from normal operational or from an overexcited skimmer and it shuts off the skimmer and your apex automatically drains the bucket to drain or outside. you set your logic and code in the apex that if the skimmate superlocker fills more than once a day let's say or in two days, whatever beyond normal frequency for you is, then it notifies you via text/email before restarting the skimmer pump. in this way in case of an overexcited skimmer you will know before it kick starts the skimmer again. that coupled with a swabbie on that skimmer of yours would make handling/smelling skimmate a thing of the past as your skimmer neck will be kept clean and skimmer cup too keeping your skimmer running at top efficiency and more reliably.Monkiboy: skimmer drains into a drain pipe that goes gown to basement sump. Designed to allow me not to worry about skimmate while traveling. Also I cannot empty 5-6 gallon buckets with my bad back.
My concern is that expensive piece of equipment is really tough to calibrate. It is still not skimming/working right. Not foaming up like it is supposed to. Maybe it is something in the water that is causing it to go crazy will see in another 24 hrs, has been over 48 hrs so far...
i'm able to see it but watching any video on pbucket is a horrific experience because of buffering and bandwidth issues on their server side. youtube is much more stable. are you able to upload there instead? thanks for taking a video to share with us!Hope it is worthwhile to watch as I am a novice at picture taking...
if you don't already have a youtube or google/gmail account, you will need to set up a free account with them.monkiboy if you educate me a bit on how to to Utube I can do it later tonight or tomorrow
