Hey Dan,

I tried to get an update from you on your Kalk reactor over in your DIY thread. I noticed you changed your design up a bit from the original.

Did you move the input up top to keep it from clogging? It's hard to tell on the three new ones you built if you are still having to put and airline on the output. I really like your kalk setup and have the peices I need, I just need to get to work.

Sorry Chris, been uber busy lately and not much time for RC I moved the input up for convienience reasons only. I originally put it in the bottom so I could double it as a drain but soon realized that if it where in the top with a tube going to the bottom a syphon could be started simply by shaking the unit little and draining could be done that way just as easily. There was never a clogging issue although I clean the OUTPUT on a regular basis to keep any accidents from happening. HTH

Yep I'm trying to pair them up so they are seperated for most of the day in the fuge. I have been opening up the gate once a day for about an hour to get them used to being together.

I actually had to modify the wet/dry system underneath and add fuge next to tank on stand same height . This tank was given to me already cycled from friend who had for six years but I've had for about a year now .
