I wish there was a big update to give with pleasant news but this big tank has just been idle with just fish and a few remaining favias that are slowly dieing off. I just haven't had the time to devote to this bad boy or the funds.... I am still trying to get equitment for better flow together before I start adding coral again...... I also probably need to do a water change because , well I haven't done one yet :( I also need to hook up my apex and calcium reactor as well as finish my t5 lighting in the canopy .... A huge project that has gone neglected and I feel ashamed ... The fish are doing great tho and I have really been wanting to add more lately!

I have a teco chiller, the 2000 model. Works great, energy efficient, and has a built in heater to really get the temp dialed in.

Hey I just seen an ad for those! They seem to be a little more $ but it's really nice that you can add a uv sterilizer or heater I like that option, I just never heard of the company before.... Thanks for they reply I'm definitely gonna look into those more

They're definitely more on the pricey end of chillers, but they are high quality. The biggest thing I liked about them is that they use almost half the electricity of other chillers that are comparable in size. So in the long run it might end up saving you money depending how much you run yours.

I have about 400g on my 2000 model and it does a wonderful job, maybe a little overkill. The heater inside is great for the winter too, since I don't have a controller, and comes on once in awhile on the very cold days. The unit is also pretty darn quiet compared to some chillers I have heard.

Well pulled the trigger on a new chiller today! So looks like I have a weekend project! I also have two vectra L1 pumps that should be here tomorrow.... So excited to finally get this hooked up! Then I can finish my lights and start adding corals again!
