I sent 2 6025's in a month or so ago because one had seezed up and the others had a broken impeller. one you fixed and one you replaced. the one you replaced just seezed up and will not restart. I bought these brand new less than a year ago

I would need your name to double check but if I recall it seized from calcium and fine sand forming a cement in the pump. They need to be cleaned, pull the drive unit out slowly by spinning it and pulling up. Don't use excessive force or you will pull out the shaft. Clean the pump with vinegar and be sure to clear the hole in the center of the magnet and do your best to reduce the sand and precipitation issue, if you cannot lower the risk they need to be cleaned more often.

The name is jason coleman. I disassembled the pump, soaked it in vinegar overnight. Tried to clean out all the area where the impeller goes, and reassemble it. It still will not move. I am not sure if it just frozen or what, but I can not get it to work

On your pumps calcium and sand had cemented the drive units to the shaft, the build up was in the hole in the drive unit where it spins on the shaft. Please double check that area. Basically once sand gets in, the run hotter and calcium sticks to the sand and eventually it forms a cement. You will need to clean the hole with vinegar and a small brush (pipe cleaner), you made need to use a small drill bit to ream it out.

OK, I got home from work, and messed with the 6025 again. It has now been soaking for almost 24 hours in vinegar. I cleaned out the hole very well as you instructed. even took a small drill bit and tried to clean out the hole. It is cleaned out to the best of my ability. Still does not work. I need this fixed ASAP. I am not sure that it is calcium buildup.

what do I do now? send it to you?
