hey reefers!

i set up a 75g tank last nov 09. just converted it into a seahorse tank about 3 months ago. i have 4 erectus seahorses. i know i have one male and the other 3 are yet to be determined.... Currently, i have two t5 light strips, and a 110 Aquaclear filter. this tank is in my bedroom, right beside my bed. i like to just lay there and watch my babies!!

If the seahorses are of that size I would pull that powerhead in the top right corner. The intake is to large for that size seahorse.

Beautiful tank BTW, I would stare at it too.

Very nice! We really like your use of macro's. Did you source them separately or did they come on the rock? We currently have one pipe fish but ponies are something we desire as well. Nice job!

WOW! thanks everyone for the nice compliments. to be honest, I had totally forgotten I had put this thread on here....:( I'm the treasurer of our club, and we just put on our third swap last weekend, so i've been EXTREMELY busy to say the least. but, now it's over, and i can think a little bit better now :)

In the two weeks since i've taken these pics, and comparing these pics to the tank now, it's really filled in a LOT more!! I'll have to take some more pics tomorrow, lights out now :)

the caulerpa growing came from a sprig, from somewhere....i didn't buy it. i'm a horticulturist, so i really love the "plants"! it has kind of gone crazy, but my horsies love it and so do i. I do have two plantings of halimeda which i did buy from a local reefer. i had it under higher lighting before i got the horses and it grew great, but now under this lower lighting....not so well. it's making it, just not thriving.

pledosophy: the korallia hasn't bothered them yet as they never go up there, but it does need more flow so i'll probably switch out tomorrow

pfan: i feed them nothing but frozen mysis. they get fed a cube a day and sometimes when i get crazy they'll get two!

thanks for all the kind words, will post updated pics soon :)
