Looks great. How high is the tank off the floor? Looks high, but might just be the camera angle. The bow front looks great. Hope the transfer goes well for you.

Take care,

I agree - the tank does look high. That is one thing I'm going to try to do with my next tank. It may be a bit more difficult to work inside of the tank, but viewing the display eye-level will be so much nicer than looking down at it. Are you planning a refugium?

So far, your setup looks great!

yup, i have a fuge/sump/filter/fragtank/equipmentholder/waterchanging station/topoff tank going, its one off the pictures above.

I figured it'd be in one of the compartments in your sump. Your setup looks well-planned. I especially like the convenient drain - I must look like a tool in the front yard, pouring my wastewater down the street.

hey guys what do you think should i transfer the sand too???, i want to keep as much of my established biofilter as possible

thanks guys, i will try to keep this thread open as long as i can, how about some opinions on transfering sand to new tank???

When I moved houses I had to put my sand in a rubermaid container, since i didnt want to move it with the tank. When I put the sand back it took about 24hrs to get back to clear water. I know It might have steered some stuff around, but it was ok, Nobody was hurt.

I would say all new sand too. Your will transfer plenty of your bacteria in the rock work good luck and remember to take it slow.

hmmmm, ok will try with new sand, i just wanted to get as much of bio filter as possible, but its not worth it if something dies, will keep posting more pictures, tomorrow morning will be the move

Instead of purchasing all new sand, why don't you save a cup from your current sandbed, thoroughly clean the rest using ro/di water, and reuse it?
