My 80 Gallon Build

I ordered the NWB150 for the tank. I'm thinking I'll have about 100 gal system volume so this skimmer is just a touch over sized which never did any harm.

Sweet! The new nwbs are nice. I've been really busy lately, so much so that that it has been tough for me to go to my LFS and check out my new tank. I'm hoping to make a trip there soon.

Update- went to LFS last night. Tank is here! Got new the bulkheads and overflow ready. Also designed my sump.

My sump should be here in 2 weeks. I'm going to the Dominican Republic 6/30-7/5 so I'm hoping the sump will be ready when I get back. Once it's here, I can order my skimmer and second radion.

Nice! Why did you place your radions that way?

Mostly because that's how the diagram showed. Then I realized I can hang them end to end after I had drilled holes in my ceiling and mounted them. So I'm debating about moving them. I get pretty good coverage now but it would obviously be better switched around.

definitely switch them. what diagram showed this? a single G2 can handle 30"x30"x30". being centered, you can only assume that you are not reaching the corners.
