My 90g rebuild

"Might try a cheap coral or 2 to give me something else to look at."

yea right good luck with that, if you put 1 coral in the tank you will have 100 before you know it. Thats why they call it an addiction. lol

skimmer is 25in tall and 6 or 7 inchs in diameter can't remeber how big steve made it. Its rated at 150g or 180g and thats before steve modded the pump agian. Haven't seen it run since the mod he says it should be 20-25% more efficient.

Skimmer should be fine, that looks like a Sicce on there, no? Keep up the good work, and post pics when you can. What are you going to do with the rock scape? I would at least not completely trash the idea of doing a reef. You have a decent skimmer, good lights, why not?

With the right livestock list and a couple bucks here or there you could have a very nice reef. Frags of softies are cheap. Get some zoas (they don't have to be the designer crap) some GSP, some leathers, and sinularas. Do a 30% water change every couple of weeks and your good to go. I wouldn't even worry about dosing for now.

That made me feel better the dosing crap is what put me off and I bought the lights assuming I was going to do a reef tank. Also nice eye it is a sicce pump the newer model though. I love it no issues at all starts up every time.

update time sorry for the cloudy water salt was just added like 5min before pick lol. Not final but I kinda like it I will get a better pick tomorrow when the water is clear. This is probably how I would aquascape it for a FOWLR. If I did a mixed reef I do have more rock and would probably add it.

Still need to get a GFO and carbon reactor. And looking for 2 more fish need some blue, green, and red colored fish. Going to wait a week or so though also need a CUC. Also looking into SLR camera's plan to get one in a month or 2 so if you guys got any suggestions let me know looking around the 600-800 range didn't really want to spend anymore than that but want a good camera tired of buying the point and shoot cameras and getting 1 good pic out of 300 shots.

looks good I would of thought 65 pounds of BRS pukani dryed rock, 20 pounds of BRS eco saver rock would look fuller then that I wander how much pukani I need for my 90

huh im confused?? yup thats my toe

LOL. He's refering to a forum AR15.com where it is customary to take a pic of your rifle with your toes just slightly in the frame.

I like your aquascaping. CB are such attractive fish. I swear their blue seems like it just glows.
