Thanks for the compliments guys!

I originally got the aptasia from ebay when it was sold to me as unique rock anemones!! (jk)

Nuke those Aptasia before they start stinging your zoas... Wow, the cheato thing you rigged up is so full it's bulging at the sides...time to thin it out I think.
Tank looks great, it was nice to see you and Eva...always a couple of my favorite people.

actinics halide turned off so I snapped some shots.

Yea, you are right. there is one on the left stinging one batch, I will pull the piece out and glue it dead.

LoL! actually I let it get out of control, and thats a fourth of what I pulled out, its pretty crazy stuff! I dont know how mch of it to keep in there

:) I got the first little bit of string from ya.

You can also see the gorilla nips ya gave me, the first zoas I ever got.

im still sad the RPEs passed on that I got from you :(

I should bring my camera over next time I see you!

Have you trained that Mandarin to eat prepared foods, or does he find enough pods in your tank?

I really want to add one, but am hesitant because I'm not sure that he'd thrive in my nano. I've been hearing more and more success stories lately though, especially ones of trained Mandarins.

She is about 2years old. after seeing all the threads and seeing thin mandrins at stores I am hesitant to recommend one.

she has supplemented pods and rods food

:)

Bottom left of the tank. I had a weed infestation that strangled some :(

wish i could fit a lawnmower in mah tank

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with your tank that an increase in flow couldn't cure. That Hydor rotating water deflector cuts your flow down by half and really doesn't do any good as far as changing flow goes. Take that thing off and put the stock nozzle back. Then get a small powerhead like one of those tunze look alikes and put it in the back corner facing the front with a magnet and you'll see alot of those algae and bubble problems disappear. Next time I am fragging I'll let you know and slide a few frags your way...free of charge of course...time to start saving for the little Firebretha.

Ok, I added another pump that I used for mixing saltwater its a 1000LpH and when I first put it in I had a deitrius blizzard, (awesome, will get sucked thru filter and clean tank) and I swear I heard a fish say, "MAAAAAAA IZ A TWIIISSSTEEERR"
They look confused and semi upset, I worry about the water flow with mandy since I thought they were a low flow fish.

hehe, you know I lubz me the frags. Someday I will have one for you that you will love and have not gotten.

I think the swap I spent more than I should of cause I amkinda freaked about that money is going to be tight. upsets me and makes me realize my impending doooom.

1000 LPH...I'm surprised you didn't blow them out of the tank, but the deitruis blizzard should tell you something, clean filter more often and do weekly water changes after using a powerhead or turkey baster to stir things up. They looked confused and upset cause their breathing water just turned into a mud pit. If it's not knocking corals over or moving a lot of sand, it should be good. I'd rather see you with one of the wide flow type powerheads instead of something so concentrated, but use what ya got for now.

I have it shooting off ofa rock to attempt to slow it down and disperse a wider stream since it is a nozzle. they were swimming with thehydor stream against it like a treadmill when I left.

I also put the power head on the halide timer just so its only for awhile because I wasnt sure if the 1000lphwas alright or not.

it was def shifting some sand and moved some zoas that didnt anchor to their rocks yet, the dendros retracted immidiate but came out a bit after.

Its hard to buy things like a koralia 1 because I have been trying to stick simple so I can buy an RO, then I am ready to start investing into next tank where a K1 wont really cut it

i picked up the dendros as well. its a freaken awesome coral. i've been reading that you have to feed it frequently, they are hungry beast. Mine have come out for a bit but they haven't done much. i am going to feed it some mysis shrimp tonight...

i think i bought my dendros from mantri? i haven't found him in the cmas threads yet.

did u buy the 50$ or the 75$ ones? there was two guys around me who bought at the same time.

feed em rods. the dendros loved it and even the one spliced in half has been out all the time since i fed em as long as they have arms out i feed em.

i fed them shrimp last night. i dont have any rods food but will look into that today. they are in full bloom and enjoying themselves. i was worried for a while and then remembered the guy telling me to feed them so they would come out. i bought two heads for 30.
