Nice shots Jesse. Some of those RC nuts (former RC nut here) spend almost as much time on their planes as reefers spend on their tanks!
Grant, I also used to fly RC helis and airplanes back in the late 80s and early 90s. Radio systems were converting to digital / PCM. I remember having my transmitters upgraded to use the new narrower frequency bands. And then one of the few glo-fuel factories burned down or something and fuel prices shot up. A buddy of mine built a working 6 blade CH53 helicopter that was awesome. I remember practicing auto rotations, landing a heli that had lost engine power by simulating the power failure by cutting the throttle back to idle while in midair. And then there were the midair collisions. Oh, and the water rescues (we flew at a large field with paved runway bordered by a brackish tidal river, whose water was not very good for internal engine components).
