My anemone is missing

I turned my light on about an hour ago and my anemone is missing...I have my rocks opened so that it would be difficult for things to hide bu a lot of swimming room...and its gone...I have heard they can nuke your tank...how long would it take for full disintegration I don't smell anything...I heard it really stinks when they die??

You wont really smell it this soon unless you take it out and sniff it...

I would check your overflow and your sump or back chambers....

Although at times they can hide somewhere small, they can also be stuck somewhere unseen

What kind of anemone is it?

Some carpets disappear into the sand if they are startled.
