My aquascape

I need a background and I'm going to add live rock, but how is this so far?

Remember the rule of thirds
. Split your tank into 3 equal parts, and build on the outside two. It will create a ton of depth. A common rule in art.

Also, you should paint or cover you backglass with black, that way your gaze doesn't get distracted to the back, and instead focuses on the tank itself.

Grab yourself a hammer or small sledge and bust those up smaller :hammer:
Haha I actually agree. If you can make a double island, and take two of those rocks, smash em up, you will have a lot of material to work with. Looks like plenty of rock either way

I-O lol

This is my first time doing this so I'm not real sure what I'm doing but I'm trying lol. Thanks for everyone's input. Is this one a little better? I tried making it look more natural but I'm not sure what to do with the rock in the middle.
 
I'm just impressed you managed to stand it on it's side like that :P

But yea, like others suggested break up the wall look a bit.
