Hi, Jason. Do you have a Full Tank Shot (FTS) to put these lovely close-ups into perspective?

Thx,

Dave.M

I have no recent FTS, but i will get the camera out in a couple of weeks when i get back from holiday.

Who is watching the tank while on holiday? (That means vacation for those that do not recognize the context of the word)

Hi Worm,
My fiance has the job of feeding the fishes. The RO resevoir would last a month as it is 190ltrs, and the skimmer has a large cup, and i just skim a little drier when i go on vacation.
It is only a short 6 day vacation, marlin fishing off the central east coast of Australia, I leave in the morning, so i have just finished cleaning skimmer(s), filling RP resevoir, and moving some corals slightly apart (I have a few hammer corals close to some SPS that im worried may shoot out a sweeper and sting neighboring colonies)

Jason. Nice stuffs you have.
Thanks for sharing.
Such kind words from the master himself!!! Thank you soo much Ching, and once again, Happy Birthday from all of us Australian reefers, and from MASOV! (the Marine Aquarium Society of Victoria)

Anyway guys, I failed to get an FTS worth displaying tonight, and am still playing with my new macro lense, so I only have some more macro shots.

Has anyone ever seen this before? My friend owns LFS here (Reeflections), and on the shipping list is was labelled Strawbery Shortcake with blue tips!

My white with blue tip Acropora Latistella, colony not overly fantastic color atm, but new growth is fantastic.

Green Australian Acropora Formosa. A super fast grower, really easy SPS to keep nice green color aswell.

The famous "dallas" Acropora, originaly comes from keysborough aquarium in Victoria. Nearly every SPS tank in Australia now has a piece of this in it, and it all comes from the one man's colony (Dallas Warren), a famous Victorian Reefer. :)

One of Acroal's frags doing well

Thanks for looking guys. I will do my best to get a nice FTS in the near future, I just need to clear a lot of frag tiles I have on bottom at front of tank at the moment. lol

Thanks Mo. Yes the Dallas is very famous over here. It actually thrives and is very vibrant green in "high" nutrient tanks, yet looks fairly poor in ULNS systems!

Hi all,

I tried to put together a half decent FTS tonight. I also have a new fish, a Moorish Idol, which has always been a goal of mine, So far so good. It loves the Nori, Cos lettuce and live brine shrimp, but no interest in frozen or dried foods as yet. Time will tell i guess if i can get him onto pellets.
