Do you still have the stock lighting?

no it's 144 watt nanotuners kit...

Thanks, Mike I have been thinking about the lighting upgrade myself. The RBTA has some nice color to it, which prompted my question.

Well RBTA is only a couple weeks old and he was under MH before so we will see how he does.....He's eating good so I hope that helps him acclimate.

I was using Reef Crystals and ESV 2 part suppement..but I have switched to Red Sea Pro just to try it out.

mako199,

How is your skimmer working and how does it fit? Is it inside the filter section or outside. I am setting up one of these tanks and was planning to add the SR3 skimmer from CPR. They say it fits down the center section without mods and the lid closes too. It also looks like their SR2 skimmer which is rated for 60 gallon tanks. Should do a good job on my 29 gal.

I will try to get photos of my tank when everything arrives and is set up.

kind reefer:

I am thinking of doing the same thing.....my LFS has heard good things about it, and he has proven to be reliable.

Yeah, my LFS says good things about this skimmer also. He has a prototype running in his shop and it fits really well. They should be out real soon and I'm sure the tank will have better water quality with a skimmer running. I like the fact that the lid will still close and the collection cup is easy to dump.
