My bioload just got smaller

My bioload just got one fish smaller. I can out this morning to find my algae Blenny dried out on top of my egg crate. I think the tang was probably chasing him and in a effort to get away he jumped made if thru the cover and couldn't get back in. :(
RIP Lenny the Blenny

That just happened to me a few days ago too with my pink stripe goby. I'm glad i decided to check on my algae turf scrubber in my biocube he was swimming around in the tray.

That sucks! I had a Blennie who died too, and I was really bummed. They're cool little fish.

I also have a Blennie named Lenny...

I couple days after my Blenny jumped I found my last tiny clown dried out. :(. Then just yesterday I found my yellow headed sleeper goby found his way to the ground.

The only upside is I was wondering how I would be able to get him out because he spreads sand all over my corals. And now I have some more room for some larger fish

Yep I still have the eggcrate on top. I have a kole tang but I only ever saw him chase the Blenny. He was peaceful to everyone else.
I guess I'm only going to buy fish that won't fit thru the eggcrate from now on

Or fish with poorer aim!

Or something like Bulk Reef Supply's 1/4 in. netting. Seems like that would take a really determined carpet surfer to make it thru that.
