My Black False Percs

I have an AP24. I have a mated pair of Black False Perc and I am not sure how to properly feed them. Here's the problem. I work second shift, and am gone from 3:00pm to 12:00am and I tend to wake up at 10:00am roughly.

So I try to feed them right away, I use Mysis Shrimp, Brine Shrimp and Spiro Brine Shrimp. I have several other foods here I have access too as well including flakes, pellets (small).

The problem is they don't eat great but they are eating. I just don't know how often or how much to feed.

I noticed when I fed one cube per feeding a lot was wasted, so I cut it down to 1/2 and then to 1/3rd of a cube.

I only have the two fish and a handful of corals in this tank, and I don't want to overfeed, but I want to make sure they are eating well and healthy. Any suggestions?

Try some frozen Cyclopeeze. Worked wonders for my pair of Ocellaris. Since they are in QT right now, I love the cyclopeeze because it tends to get sucked up into the filter rather than settle on the bottom.

Also, mine love to pig out on Formula One flakes from Ocean Nutrition. I crush up a medium sized flake and they gobble it down.

I mainly feed flakes plus frozen food occasionally. I mix a pinch of flakes in tank water in a cup and use a long pipet(disposable lap plastic pipet that is about 12 inches or so, tip cut off so large flakes can go through) to squirt it to my clowns. They eat everything within a few seconds. I slowly squirt the food and stop when they stop feeding aggressively. No extra food. I also use the pipet to feed them whatever I want.

I work third shift which is 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. I run my lights at night that way I can view them, feed them, and also cut down on heating/cooling bills. I feed a mixture of cyclope-eeze, brineshrimp plus, spurlinna, and formula 1 & 2. I also change it up with frozen brine and mysis. Variety is best and once you find something they like there is no stopping them from eating.

I guess I didn't communicate very well, I am really concerned about how much to feed just two little fishes. I have virtually every type of food, but I never know how much and often to feed. I have heard varying things:

1 feeding every other day of mysis/cyclops etc

1 feeding per day of 1/2 a cube for my fish

3 feedings space as far out as possible of about 1/3 a cube w/garlic & selcon (I own selcon)

Thoughts? How often and how much?

I currently feed mine two or three times a day, and however much they'll eat...but I'm nursing them back to health from a pretty bad illness.
