Cross your fingers!

I have a pair of Ventralis in my tank and I love them. They are beautiful fish. And they normally stay out in the open swimming around. Most of the stuff you read on them state they need to be fed 2-3 times a day, but I feed mine only once a day, and they have been fat and happy and kept their vivid color for almost a couple of years now. Great choice you made, you will enjoy them!

Hey, thanks for saying so Jay. I'm really glad to hear that.

After my Lyretails ..."left the Building" (due to an off-hours GFI shutdown of the Skimmer, pumps, etc. Nothing trivial...), I fell in Love with these, the Bartletts, and the Dispars, so I "ordered" the these.

Then, started to get a little "skeered" :worried: beyond what I had previous researched about Pseudanthias ventralis because the "experts" I was reading from, wrote some pretty cautious reviews about survival, feeding, lighting, and social behavior to be attempted only by "expert" aquarists. I consider myself more like an advanced Hack!

Glad your's are doing well. Richard keeps them too.

Actually, these were featured in the Jan.- Feb. edition of CORAL magazine, under thier "Rarities" section.
