My BTA's keep skrinking

I bought 2 BTA's a couple weeks ago and they both were looking good until they lost the "bubbleness" in their tentacles and started shrinking up so much that all I could see was their foot no tentecles. They both open back up after they shrink but they are doing this every day. I have a variety of soft corals and mushrooms in they tank right now and they all seem fine. hopefully someone can help me out and give me some reasons on why this is happening. My tank stats 75g w/40g sump my lighting is 4 54w nova extreme t5s my water reads amonnia 0 nitrite 0 Ph 8.2 Alk 12 salinity 1.026 nitrate 12. The tank is 7 months old. Thanks.

Mine did this and I made sure the pexi glass bottom of my light fixture was not salted up with debris.
Ultimately mine died.

found out that the water I was putting in was not the same in the tank. So they went through salinty shock.
At least I know not to do that again.

Kissel, I would really be concerned that the problem you describe might have to do with the fact that you have soft corals and mushrooms in the tank. Even if not in contact w an anemone, chemicals released by these can affect an anemone adversely. At the least, you will want to do regular (weekly) water changes and run activated carbon and protein skim constantly.
