Thanks. That's what I like about them too but their body parts are getting darker every week. I might end up with all black and white with just an orange face clowns. They are still young. I'll keep this thread updated.

My clown pair had a falling out. The female almost killed the male. I paired her with a slightly bigger clown than the previous mate so he can hold his ground. So far nothing major. The new mate is a wild caught true percula.

Thanks. Almost all wild caught true percs have tall dorsal fins. It's the tank raised ones that can't keep them. Haha. Although I have seen a wild Solomon Islands true perc come in with half a dorsal fin. Lol the clown below never grew it back in 8 months of captivity. So I'm assuming it was a natural defect.

Not a defect at all, I'd call it battle scar, was bit off at some point. The hard dorsal fin sections hard spines don't grow back, the soft dorsal fin section will.

I love my c-quest clown. She is so beautiful. Her tail and pectoral fins are almost all black.
