my center pice fish (king of the tank)

So thats why Bear asked me about Kingi....lol .
How's the fish doing? looks stressed? swimming normal? the diver pinned it or do they slowly taking it up?
Need to get myself on a flight to durban, its about time....no use to go and watch Great Whites in Gansbai if I cant collect them...lol

i have heard that a kingi has a air pocket behind its eyes that make the fish go blind (if you needed the kingi and take him up fast)
 
got home and the kingi is looking better breathing is normal
the kingi darts up and down the tank and stopping at the cleaner shrimps
 
Nice Yuri:) so jealous! a juvi was caught here last summer but the stupid guy thought it was a butterfly and killed it. dork. i am hoping to dive a juvi out.. 40m is a bit deep for me:) :)

Killing a fish cause its a butterfly is stupid by itself, killing a Kingii is way beyond stupid.

yuri, wish you luck with that fish.
 
Yuri. I would do some research in regards to treating ich. Sounds like the ich has fallen off to reproduce. Look in the search area asap. Best of luck. T

He is breating normal now and swimming like a champ
Also almost eat two times but spit the food out
 
I would try fresh clams on the half shell. That works really well. Also I would soak any other foods in garlic and try that. Are you treating the fish with a low dose of copper? Any updated pictures? Also remember to keep water temp constant and water quality pristine. No bright light as well. T

got home today and he looks even better :spin3:
the kingi have not been moved and have only been using seachem para guard
doing 75L water change every 2 days

he is more comthy with the lights on (when i walk past the tank slowly then he will not rush to hide but when the lights are off he will always hide when i am close to the tank)
it is only 2 T5 39w lights

before i take photos promise you will not make jokes about aiptasia :hmm2:
