Lastly, I might have a shot at a pair of these...Genicanthus Personatus

youyre not putting any fish in a not cycled QT, are you? That is a very nice setup, but I wouldnt do that.

Glad to see theres another deranged maniac out there who will spend money on fish like I do!!!!! ;)

those are some serious fish you have potential to acquire. If you do PLEASE document your experience with pictures and details. I would be very interested to see how the Anthias do in your aquarium.

Wow, you are really going crazy with the rare and exotic fish! How about an interruptus angel? I wouldn't think you could get a pair of personatus. I think you are going to need a bigger tank! Are you worried about your corals? Looks like you've been bitten by the angelfish bug! Goodluck, its an addiction!

Nope, the cycled water will come from the 600g display tank and the cured rock will come from the dual 40g frag tanks and the 600g sump (approx 60lbs). No sand will go into the 125qt unless it becomes a reef down the road.

Oh I definately will be documenting everything with write-ups and photos. Check back today around 3pm with photos of the Wrought Iron.

Interruptus pair is on the list...I have a guy looking for the personatus, nothing is guaranteed, but its a good shot i can get a pair!

Corals will grow back.

I am in LOVE with angels!!! :inlove::inlove::inlove:

Jeremy is that a bulge in the conspic on top?

I dont know. I am not as "mystified" by the "bulge" phenomenom on Chaetodontoplus as others are. I have had many Ch. angels with said "bulge" that have lived well, and are even still alive. FWIW, I have seen such conditions in Pomacanthus and Holoacanthus angels too. I understand some people see some anomolous conditions and blame it on this, which may be accurate, but until something is determined, Im not worried. These fish have been treated for any type of internal parasite in multiplicity.

Sorry to hijack.

Very nice fish Jeremy!! Any more pictures?

Tank is down to 72ish. Trust me, I'm very patient this go around.

Pictures arent my forte. Needless to say, I have had a gem and wrought iron in this tank also. No perosnatus, though :eek2: Sadly, at Christmas, I had a tragedy of a most greivous nature, and lost MANY of my prized fish. I am still hashing that out with some manufacturers (keep an eye on the vendor experience forum...), but these guys were a large part of my rebuild.
