My chiller sounds funny. Is something wrong with it? Link inside

It sounds OK. could be the fan making a bit of noise. Did you tip the chiller at all when you were moving it? If so, shut it off and let it rest for 24 hours. Tipping the chiller is bad for the compressor if you run it immediately afterwards due to the gas/fluids in the compressor separating or shifting.

I probably did tip it while I was moving it. I'll leave it off for 24 hours.

A friend of mine mentioned that it might need refilling. Is that something I should look into?

Not yet. After it sits 24 hr. assess how it is working. The reason you need to wait is to allow the freon to settle inside. The is an "H " valve that regulates the pressure internally and if you disturb that, then you need to wait for it to adjust. It can cause problems for your chiller ,if you do not let them adjust .Some units have an override, that shuts the compressor off,if you didn't allow enough time for it to settle,to protect it.
