nice!

nice!

i can see how you ended up falling in love with these corals, they are absolutely stunning! i guess that answers my...what's the next coral im adding to my tank question. lol

I've had the tiny blue cornflower ones for a while now. They were wiped off their initial rock by a blenny, but two smaller colonies survived. I just picked up a few larger ones over the weekend.

What type of blenny wiped them out? I have them all over my tank and they try to smother my zoas. Sorry don't mean to hijack.

Check these out, Im not the greatest at taking pics, but pic taken under actinics only and not altered.

P5260001 is the top picture of cloves. blue with yellow runners in the leafs. Could you part with a frag of them? I have been looking for them.

I have a friend with these never seen them anywhere else nice blue. They grow anywhere there is light. They are all over his tank.

I have those blue polyp guys too! But from what i hear they can get fairly annoying. =\ And DAYUUUM. I posted a thread trying to find different clove polyps and was referred here.

Are those green centers with yellow or gold tips or orange tips? And is that actinic shot a pink tip?

I have been wanting to try some clove's but don't they tend to be invasive? Very impressed with your collection!

Is there any other name for a clove polyp? (Xenia?)
The long, fuzzy ones seen in pics by Reefer557, maroonman and JRF are Clavularia viridis or related species (sometimes sold as Stolonifera, and thanks to some ancient naming confusion often mistaken for the scientific name of Briareum sp. aka GSP).
The small ones frenchie has are most likely Cervera sp.
The blue ones Gamepro_inc has are Sarcothelia edmondsoni, sometimes called Blue Xenia or Snowflake Polyp.
