My clownfish won't eat!

I bought a pair of ocellaris clowns yesterday and when I offer them 1mm pellets by New Life Spectrum they try to eat it then spit it out. Are the pellets to large? Is there a different brand you recommend for pellets?

What did the people you got the fish from feed them? The clowns may not have ever been fed pellet food. Maybe try some frozen food?

Give them time. I bought my pair of clowns at liveaquaria about 2 weeks ago and they didn't eat for 9 days. They just played with the food (new life spectrum) and spit them out. Now, they pretty much eat anything. Just give them time and they will eventually eat.

I crushed up the pellets even more, now they're eating.
