My Clowns are being Clowns!

Ok 3 times in a week my clowns end up in my overflow box. It always seems to happen at night. Dont know if they just sleeping up there or what, but its getting tiresome getting them out. Any suggestions on keeping them in, any screen, or other covers over the overflow teeth I can use?

mine do that alot, you can use window screen or egg crate or something of the like. At craft stores they sell a thick, flexible, stiff screen stuff.

Plastic screen is all I can think of, maybe make the holes large enough so water flow isn't restricted.
