my clowns gsm have been together 6 years and finally spawned

Well the title says it all. My yellow striped maroon clowns have been together for 6 to 7 years. Today for the first time spawned. I see the male fanning a lot of eggs. The eggs look like little silver refectors in them. I am not prepared to raise them at the moment and think they may be close.

You are likely better off letting the first few batches go, monitoring the breeding schedule, starting up a batch of rotifers, setting up the initial tank and grow out arrangement.

Of course that sounds like work, maybe just sit back and let them do their thing

That is exactly the plan. Last night hundreds + hatched and were swimming around an hour and a half after the lights went out. Now the wife wants to raise clowns. Go figure. I guess this weekend I will do some reading start a photo culture and rotifers.
