My clowns have flared gills!

Hi guys, I have a question about my clowns that I hope someone or some of you guys can shed light on. I bought a pair of clownfishes from a LFS and they seemed alright at first. After a few days, my clowns started to get flared gills! Their gilles flared up for some reason. Other than that, i don't see any white spots or anything funny about them and they have been eating. I asked my LFS where i got them from, they told me they will grow out of it and their gills will set back in.

Are my clowns sick? What can I do?

I have Clowns...and none of mine ever had flared gills

Are they inflamed?

No, my clowns aren't inflame... Their gills are just flared out for some strange reason...but other than that, the look fine...
