My clowns laid eggs

I've had a pair of Black percula clowns for a little over a year now maybe its two I forget Lol. When I bought them they still had orange faces. I believe they have matured since their faces colored in. One definately became female cuz she's huge compared to the other. Lately they've been hanging out under their carpet anenome home rubbing on a small rock. I checked it out and found what looks like eggs all over the rock.

So whats gonna happen if and when they hatch? or do they? Im wondering what happens next.

Thanks

Congrats!

There are quite a few GOOD threads in this section on how to raise fry.

For what it is worth, the first few egg laying is for practice anyway.

The male needs to learn how to fertilized and prune off non-fertilized eggs.

Normally they end up as fish food for the tank. Sorry to say, but it is true.

If you are interested in raising the fry, like I said, check those threads. I want to, and it is not really difficult. Just a few things to setup and consistency and documentation is key. That way if there are issues you can see exactly where and adjust next time.

Any pictures?

This website has a lot of good information. I have read through it quite a bit hoping one of these days my platinum clowns will give me a chance to try a fry.

I raised a few batches of clown fry about 10 years ago, it takes a tremendous amount of time, space, and labor! I vote for fish food.
