Hi All,

I am about to pull out the CC and order the equipment for my new build I thought I would post what I am thinking of getting and let you guys beat up on me a bit.

Keep in mind I have limited garage space for DIY projects.

1. Aqueon 65 Gallon reef ready tank. (36.4" x 18.4" x 25" http://www.aqueonproducts.com/products/predrilled-aquariums.htm )

2. Stand from LFS with an opening of 33" x 16"

3. A sump where I am leaning toward the Trigger systems Emerald 26 http://www.triggersys.com/test/emerald-specs/ but still considering -- the Trigger Systems ruby 30S http://www.triggersys.com/test/ruby-specs/ (I like the 30E but it won't fit my stand), or one of the ESHOPPS 200 series sumps maybe the ADV-200 http://www.eshopps.com/products/filters/advseries/adv200/ ??

4. The SCA-302 Protein Skimmer.

5. 2 ea. 165 watt LED Chinese lights.

6. About 2 inches on live sand.

7. 50 "“ 60 LBS of dry rock.

I am very open to suggestions

Thanks for the help,

Dave

What's to beat you up over? Sounds like a nice system. Just remember it probably doesn't cost much more to go to 75 or 90 gal and those open you up to a longer list of fish you can get and more fish as well. Just a thought.

Good move on the Chinese lights, they are going to be over my tank as soon as my bulbs for my T5's are worn out. Can't beat those for $83 ea delivered to your door.
