Okay, so I got this guy about a month ago, and his color is awesome!! He was under 14K light where I got him, and I have him under 10K lighting. Now, I know that he may have lost a little coloring due to the light change, but does he look healthy to you guys? I'm new to the clams, and I really like him a lot! I just want to make sure he is okay!

Thanks! It could be a maxima, I don't know for sure! Anyone out there that knows them, please chime in and give me a correct ID!!

almost 100% sure its a maxima, to really ID him take pics of the shell

1- it looks to be under 2" in length

2- the scutes apear to go all the way down to the base

3- mantle pattern(alot of the cultured Maximas out now seem to have very similar color patterns, i guess from lack of genetic diversity of the brood stock)
