My dreamtank/fishroom

Todd-Your fishroom is sweet.:D I wish I had enough room to do a setup like yours. Mine will have a smaller viewing area.

I didn't do anything special to the slab other than making it thicker. I understand that wire mesh or rebar would have added considerable strength but it just didn't happen.

G'day Stoneyscoral, Ive just caught up on your thread, Wow.

Thickening your slab was a very wise idea. Im subscribing to keep up with what youre up to. :)

regards Chris.

Great reading and beautiful tank. Would love pictures as they are building your main tank. Looking forward to following this thread.

I have made just a little progress as of yesterday. The stand is now tiled and I will put up a pic. I have everything I need to get my frag tank going but I am taking my time.

I will post pics of the stand soon and hope to get the sump and plumbing for the frag tank done in a couple weeks.

For $$$ and time reasons things have been moving slow. I also have been taking down my old system bit by bit and will have it gone by next weekend.

I am taking my sweet time to make sure I do it right!!!

I won't have anything actually running permanently until the rest of my basement is done which amounts to a good solid week of work w/ some friends. I suspect that by October I may have the big tank in as well.

Apologies for the painfully slow thread!!!
