Thought I'd share my little video here. Percs are on the nest and got the family all excited. I wasn't going to try and save them but as of today I set up a 10g tank and will hope for the best if I can get some out of the main tank. I had 20 gal of r/o saltwater already made-up.
Few questions I do have though.
1. Since the fry will only be in the 10 g tank, will there have to be a cycle in the tank before I can put them in? I have a Aquaclear running with carbon and LR rubble at this time. I have a heater in there to get the temp up. I have a PC fixture on the tank.
2.I picked up an air pump/hose and stone so should that be run in the tank after I turn off the Aquaclear filter or just put it in now?
I should have Live rotifiers here by Wed. so if they hatch I hopefully will be ready. I dont expect much from this time but hope to be ready for the next.
About how long before the eggs actually hatch? I noticed them last weekend and the male is still on the nest.
