My fathers day present!

Saw these the other day at my LFS and told the wife how much i liked them. Now thinking back, it was weird that for the 1st time ever she was very interested and asking the exact size, shape, etc. of it. Went there today with the family and it was marked sold Apparently, the wifey snuck there yesterday and bought it!

Thanks everyone! It hadn't really opened all the way yet in that pic but its a pretty nice piece. Has about 17-18 rics on it.

Yeah, MUCH better than cologne or some other crappo gift!

Even though i'll have to pay the bill at the end of the month, as long as I didn't actually pay for it, seems like a freebie,lol

It was actually pretty pricey, $170. I never would spend that on rics and would be pretty po'd if the wife did. Luckily, my mother in law split it with her, so really it cost me $85. I can live with that,lol

It's 17 good polyps and the 3 babies near the front, so not too bad for that color orange.

That is a lot of money but I have seen tiny individual rics for 30 bucks so for that colony i think it is well worth it!

Not rics but got myself a yuma today to keep the rics company. Not all the way opened yet but nice and red! Heres with flash and under actinics

i think thats a good deal coming from a lfs. i like buying rics on ebay because i spent upwords of 100 in the petshop for one ric! anyway you got some nice ones there, im not sure if its the lighting in the pic but i never seen any that yellowish.

Well , it has been a few weeks . How is that Ric rock doin?

The ric rock is doing great! I just took a pic of it here but look at my poor yuma!!! It was doing great just a few hours ago and ate cyclo like mad last night. My yumas right next to it are doing great

Is this a problem? Is it a goner? What can i do????

p.s- the difference in colors is from switching to 14k phoenix bulbs from the 10k coralifes that came with my lights.

I dunno! I never had a yuma but I am looking.
Is it's mouth wide open? the rest of it looks ok and the colors still look good , thats a good sign! I wonder if it still smells the cyclo and is trying to feed.
Sometimes my stuff have a couple of days of looking funky usually they spring right back.

I have bought from him some very nice zoanthids ricordia and yuma and toadstool mushroom. He ebays alot so keep checking back for his auctions. He starts them at low bids. Cool!
