My Favorite Chalice

I only have a few"¦ sprung's stunner, hell's eye, and this one.
No idea what it is.
Got it back in February and it didn't like something about my display tank, or maybe the dip stressed it out. It ended up receding a good 50%. But i had placed it in my frag tank and it came back and is now in my display again, doing great. It's a little bigger now than it was when I first got it, covering the whole frag plug.

This is when i first got it"¦ upper right frag.

And this is it now"¦

It still only has the one eye which is a bright pink.

I just wish I knew what it was!!!

And what do you guys do with your chalices?
So far I have left all mine on the sand bed.
My Hell's eye and Stunner are both huge"¦ like 6" in diameter.

Ya, that acan doesn't look nearly as good now.
The frag in my tank has been turned upside down by sand critters several times.
And just in general, acans don't seem to do all that well for me. These were my first ones. I don't know why. Maybe because I don't spot feed them.
Hoping it eventually picks up though.

my acans also seem to only do well when being spot fed, the chalice looks very nice, love the contrast of the pink eye vs the purple/green body.

Just picked up a cpl small Hollywood stunner frags and am hoping they do well.

This is my favorite (well in my tank lol) It's pretty close to the same piece. When originally fragged off the mother colony the small frags formed a green rim under LED lighting . Mine has been growing under t5 for about 6 months now from that original raised square you can see on the plug, and i can't see the green rim as much any longer. The pink eyes and yellow ridges defiantly are quite similar, and If I can find pics of the mother colony I will post them, and other frags I had made too. All are sold now, this is all I have but doing pretty good so far!
