My first 2 clowns

Well, I've always wanted a clownfish since the first time I saw one on the movie "finding nemo" when I was a kid. Then, I saw a real one, and that's where I started from freshwater, breeding convicts, to breeding malawi cichlids, and to nano reefs.

I currently have a 3g nano, that I am going to move into my current malawi setup. The fish here are going to get sold soon. So, my new nano reef setup is a 26g bowfront, that I will want a red rose anemone ( I know, after 6 months ) SPS, LPS, and some softies. Maybe clams later on.

So, I was wondering, when I tell my LFS to order two true perculas for me, where should I tell them to get them from? What part of the world? For example...solomon islands, ect.

I was also wondering, what is a good coral they can host in while I wait the six months to get a red rose anemone?

I already have my lighting purchased, it is a 24" tek light from reefgeek. T5's.

Should I get the clowns as small as possible? One bigger than the other?

Thanks

By red rose anemone I assume you mean a rose bubble tip RBTA? If so you may wish to consider maroon clowns instead since that is a natural host situation. You may also consider asking your LFS to obtain a captive bred fish or pair. Most species of clownfish have been successfully bred in captivity for some time now and they're fine specimens. Captive bred clownfish is less likely to introduce disease into your system and they will be less stressed by lengthy shipping.

Yeah I ment RBTA.

But aren't those clowns too big for a 26g bowfront?

What coral can a clown host in, in the meanwhile of obtaining an anemone?
