HI guys.. I got my first anemone.. its a white seabae, I was very excited.. it actually attached to the rock and sand quite well (within 2 mins)... it has a nice yellow bright green color and purple tips..

I brought the guy on saturday.. I feed it formula one pellet food.. i think it took it.. I wanted to know, so How much should I feed the pellet food? every day? or..

I also noticed today.. that it had some thing green inside of its tentacles.. don't know what it is.. but it didn't look good.. it was still attached to the rock.. and only a few tentacles had the green stuff inside of it.. Will have to check when I get home.. what happend..

I have mysis shrimp that none of my fish eat.. I don't know why.. should I try feeding my anemone that?

I was reading and someone said that you can use shrimp from the grocerey store?

I do have clown fish.. but they don't seem to know that they are suppoosed to host it..

on a side note.. one of my yellow tail damsels got eaten.. I don't know by who yet.. I think it was the purple losbster and then the snails probably finshed it off.. All I see is the remains of a fish skeleton.

Also, another side note.. the yellow tail damsel seems to be growing a white things on its side.. it doesn't seem to be ich.. b/c its been there for a while.. ever since I got him.. and it hasn't spread to the other fishes.. don't kow what it is.. I know a picture would be good But I'll have one tomorrrow.. for you guys.. thanks..

Pellet food usually isn't on the recommended menu for anemones, but I have no real reason why it shouldn't be, as long as you are sure it is getting eaten.
Yes, you can use shrimp from the grocery store. Try to make sure it doesn't have preservatives in it. You will need to only feed pieces about pencil eraser size.

If your fish won't eat the mysis, throw it away. You either have some reeeeeally picky fish, or bad mysis.

Don't know who killed the yellow tailed damsel. It could have been the other yellow tailed damsels. Depending on what species you have, they don't always like to be around each other.

Can't help you with the last ? without more info.

Pics of both the anemone and the damsel would be very helpful.
