My First Anemone

Hey everyone - I am new to the hobby.. Set my tank up about 6 weeks ago.. Finished cycling about 14 days ago.. I currently have 2 scooter blennies, a small clown fish, and a SMALL regal blue tang in my tank with some not live rock lol. I would eventually like to purchase a nice Anemone for the clown to hopfully take care of, but I have some questions..

1. What would be a good starter Anemone, I have had aquariums for a while but I am new to the marine world.
2. Are their species that are "easier" to take care of than others?
3. What are the requirements for a given species?

My PH is perdy good.. Hangs out arround 8.25~8.28.
Salinity is 1.024~1.025 and all other specs are within limits..

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bubbletips seem to be the easiest, but a well established tank is better for them. I'd wait 6-12 months before even attempting one.

[welcome]

120Watt Actinic I think is how you spell it?
Your only light is a four foot VHO actinic bulb? That's not enough light to sustain anything other than fish.

agreed, you don't have enough light for an anemone...also, even the easiest are finicky about water quality and you are only 6 weeks in, you will no doubt have water quality issues sometime in the near future...stick with fish and if you get more lights, some corals first...after 6 months or more when you are comfrtable maintinaing water stability, then go for a BTA, they are by far the easiest anemones to keep IMHO
