My first Carpet "pic"

this is my very first carpet nem, this is the pic from LFS. I will be getting it tomorrow. Where is a good place to put this guy? I'm thinking bottom in the sand in direct light.

Any ideas on a clown pair to host? thanks

I think you need a solid pair of B&W clarkii's on that nem. IMHO, they are an underrated fish, but very striking.

Is it true they will bury into the sand and attach to the glass bottom?

yes, they will burry their foot all the way threw the sand ...and attach to the glass..

They need to attach to something first, before they can dig down through the sand. They need something to push off of. I would dig out a little sand, right up against a rock, and place the anemone in that spot, where it can attach to the rock.

I agree with black clarkii's as well. Awesome fish.

8 bulb ATI T5. I dug a hold in the sand and placed him in it then moved the sand around his foot, I guess it didn't like that cuz he moved out of the sand and onto the rock.
