lighting will be 4X24W PC. with modded seaclone 100.
maxijet 1200 return. 3 hydor 350 pico pump.
this will be the new home for all my rics and acan lords.
and yet still have some more finish up to do with the tank. but it passed the water test, just need 18 more curing days.

looks good. But why not go with something more intense. Maybe even a 150-175w Metal halide (10kk) with some low power (2x18w) PC actinics for night effect.

i will see how they do under the PC then decide stay with PC or add a 70W HQI.
this the first tank i built. far from building tank for others.

One word: WOW!!! :eek2: :eek2:
or two words: Great JoB!!!

Can't wait to see it full of corals. Keep us updated.

did you build the tank your self??...that $hit is hot...
what kind of lights are you planning to get??

Reading, it does a body good:rolleyes: ;) :p

I agree with AIMFish-
there is nothing wrong with pc lighting, you could keep some nice lower light corals in there. However, if you haven't purchased your lights yet, consider something stronger. 20" of water is actually alot for pc lights to penatrate. This is definitley something you don't want to skimp on.

thx every1.
i have a 90 i can fall back on. so i will do all PC first if anything went wrong i can move all the corals back to the main tank then add a 70W HQI to it. and most the things i keep there will be rics and lords and maybe couple blasto. i dont think light will do be a big deal for those corals. the tank only 14" water. 20" is long.

here's a bit of update.
almost ready. just need 96W qaud PC.

nice tank

Looks nice, very proffessional looking.

I took one look out your window and figured...Minnesota, hey I grew up there. The trees give it away.

You live in central or southern Minn?
