My first reef build. (Fluval Edge)

Luckily you noticed well in advanced of you getting too invested with tons of corals!

If not for the post a few above, I'd probably have not caught on for quite some time. I thought it was something the zoa heads were "spitting out" because they never moved, and they certainly don't look like worms...

yeah flatworms are kinda lame. Use eXit. I used it and t killed like hundred of them, but they still seem to keep coming back. No new livestock in many moons.

Worst case scenario, keep your nutrient levels low and the flatworm population will stay low. My flatworm population has been low in my 10 gallon for about 6 months now.

Interceptor is used to poison 'little red bugs' not flatworms. If you control food and nutrients, your flatworms shouldn't be an issue. I found that with a wrasse the population stayed quite low.

A nudibranch is a very cool looking natural way to get rid of flatworms. Only problem is that once the nudibranch eats them all it will starve to death.

six line wrasse or a yellow chromis will do the job for you on the FW. The chromis is a less aggressive fish than the wrasse.

Not much going on right now. Found a couple of barnicles and a toadstool lether I didn't know I had. Hermits have molted, things are settling in. Loving the top being gone. I'll probably do a video or photo shoot soon.

Thanks again for the interest.

Randy

Yes that is indeed me, Mitch Hedberg, the comedian. While I died in March of 2005, I still maintain an active role in the reefing community. ;)
