I will have to see, I'm going to be getting everything for it in the next month or so and just wanted to make sure no one thought it was a waste of money.
 
Like he said just check the dimensions of the compartments to make sure you can fit what you need and it's a good quality sump. I run the eshopps rs-300 on my 210 and the rs-100 on my 90. That down pipe design with the overflow does make it super quiet.

Thanks, I've checked all the measurements and they are all good. What kind of skimmer and return pump would you guys recommend that are not too pricey?
 
Check out the eheim compact plus pumps, good price and excellent head pressure. For the price the eshopps skimmers aren't bad, I used the hang on version of the one that would fit that sump and it was a work horse. The bubble magus curves aren't that expensive, not sure of the sizing for that sump.

I'm partial to the ehiem pumps. The model 1000 would be a good choice. Can't go wrong with a mag either. They're out of stock right now but maybe look on marine depot. The Sicce syncra pumps are good pumps too. Can't go wrong with a reef octopus. If you intend to heavily stock your tank then try to size the skimmer accordingly. Go for the slightly bigger one if you can fit it in your sump. Eshopps skimmer would be a decent choice and they are powered by the Sicce Italian pumps, and they're on sale too :-). I'm not familiar with the other brand you linked to.

One thing regardless of what skimmer you get is to consider getting a neck cleaner from avast marine. You don't need a aquarium controller to run it. You can put it on a simple timer to run it a few times a week that you can get from Home Depot or lowes. It will help to keep your skimmer running at peak efficiency. Something to consider for a future purchase. :-)
 
Like others, I've had good success and currently use the Eheim Compact+ pumps (Both a 3000 and a 1000.) I also use a newer Eshopps sump (R-300) and an Eshopps cone skimmer S-200. My stuff has worked very well, so I think you will be pleased with the RS-75.

they are more powerful and have better head pressure than the regular eheim pump, I've never used the other one. That's the eshopps skimmer, reef octopus is very popular but I personally have had bad experiences with coralvue customer service which is who makes reef octopus. i have no experience with the other one

The neck cleaner is a really good idea but a little pricey, I might have to wait a little bit before I get one of those.
 
I just realized that the reef octopus skimmer is not eligible for the promo code so I think I will go with the eshopps skimmer instead seeing as I would be saving a little over $60.

It is a little confusing but eheim makes 2 lines of pumps in this category; compact and compact+, I find the compact+ pumps to be far superior because they deliver a higher gph at a higher head pressure, I read an article I can't find now that had calculations. Most pumps lose so much as soon as the water starts to travel up, the compact+ pumps stays strong. So depending on how much turn over you are looking to have I would go with the compact+2000 or compact+3000. Return pumps aren't cheap because of the needed head pressure, lesser pumps won't deliver this and you'll be disappointed when a pump rated for the gph you are looking doesn't deliver when it has to pump uphill.

So I was measuring the spot were the sump would go and everything will fit!

But I'm worried about the skimmer because the spot were the sump is going is only a little over 20" high and the skimmer is 19" high! so it should fit, but then when I need to empty the collection cup it might get stuck at the top, and I can't find any dimensions for the neck of the collection cup, so if anyone has this EXACT same skimmer (PSK-75 eshopps skimmer) I would be really grateful if you could measure the length of the neck on the collection cup.
