I just got my first zoas yesterday and i'm hooked, I could fill whole my tank with just zoas, shrimps and snails, but hubby wants to see things swimming around :D. They were only in the tank for about 5 minutes when I took the photos.

Looks good! I noticed they have pretty long stalks. They were probably starved for llight where they were. If you got good light they will shrink back down nice and tight! Welcome to the Zoa family!

Thanks for the info!! I "accidentally" put them right on top closest to the light, lucky guess.

Congrats on your new zoas. The holdfasts from that caulerpa may aggravate them tho. Pull it out slow when you remove and it you should be able to get all of it. I'd place it somewhere in the tank or fuge where you can monitor and control it's grow.

The guy at the store didn't know, but thought they were "green". Upon closer inspection there are 3 distinct colors: green, orange, and blue. Hopefully we'll be able to see better after a couple days of rest.
