My Fish Street Wavebox Experience

Over the past few moths I have been kicking around the idea of purchasing a wavebox for my 220 Gallon tank. I managed to narrow it down to Tunze & Fish Street. I quickly ruled out vortech's & koralias as I dont care there appearence and needing multiple of each to acheive the effect I wanted. I was going to buy a new tunze wavebox but I will admit it was hard to swallow a $600 plus price tag plus magnets. I considered a used tunze wavebox but most I found had been used for some time and no warranty so I purchased the Fish Street Wavebox (new) on ebay. I will say I am IN LOVE with this wave box. I puchased a tunze magnet to use on it as I wanted to achieve a less cluttered look with the mounting brackets. I have the wavebox setup to pulse every 2 seconds for 1 second. This has created a very nice 1 1/2" wave in my tank. The coral & fish really seem to love it. I know I have had the wavebox for a few days now and time will tell but I personally would recommend the fish street wavebox to anyone and it is half the price of a new tunze.

Yea, a video would be really sweet, or just pics.

Guessing it's the Single model, not twin? Is your 220 6' or 8'?

I have taken the video but you tube is not liking that I took it in 780P with 60 frames a second so.... once it is done loading I will post it. It does hum a little while the pump is on but it does not bother me.

Ok now it is available in HD... I had to turn the lights back on to make this video so I appologize for poor polyp extention but you can see the wave that is created in the tank.

I bought one in Bangkok, but struggled getting even a tiny wave. It has a 24v power supply with a timing unit. I tried almost every setting, but nothing. How do you pulse it every 2 sec for 1 sec?

Nope, not a Fish Street, but they all similar design. I think all the time using it was just pulsing the pump, the water in the box not moving up and down. Like you say you pulsing it every 2 sec for 1 sec. I think im not getting to get the pump on and off, just pulsing it.
