My Fishtank

You can see the green codium throughout the tank. I let some pieces float on the top, gorwing quickly. Then I'll break a piece off and glue it to the rocks somewhere. Found this stuff growing in the overflow. Initially added some, but it seemed like something was eating it as it slowly disappeared. Now, the stuff is growing like wildfire. Here's a pick of a growing piece floating.

PO3 is 0 and nitrates are 0.

The macro def helps with nutrient export. I also have an algae turf scrubber I made...plumbed it off the return. I clean the screen about every two to three weeks, this is what it looks like with about three weeks of growth on it.

I also have an ASM G3 skimmer which I skim pretty dry - get about a half cup every week. I vacuum the sand bed during weekly 10g water changes, hitting about 15% of the bed each change. I systematically work my way around the tank, cleaning the sand bed bit by bit.

The acans on the rock to the front/right started as a three headed frag. It now has nine heads.

The pink cluster above the wrasse and between the two codium is a coralline cluster.

Some zoas. I love the colors on these...the Iphone doesn't do them justice.

The brain on the left started with 5 mouths. It is growing very quickly and now beginning to encrust the rock I glued the frag to.

The duncan in the foreground also began as a smaller frag - a single mouth. Now its got about 8 mouths.

I love to feed the duncans. Usually feed them brine or mysis a couple of times per week. Also will feed the acans some brine.

My two other fish are doing great and getting much bigger. I bought the tailspot blenny and mandarin very small. They have both easily more than doubled in size. The tank is filled with pods and worms that the mandy picks at all day. She is a fatty!
