My Fisrt Clam Need Tips

I just got it a few weeks a go it a Crocea Clam
I need to know what does it eat? and is it ok to have it under PC lighting. So far, it seem to be doing alright.

You really need to understand the needs of animals BEFORE you buy them.

The answer is that your clam MIGHT be alright, but might NOT, depending on how much lighting you have, and where it is placed. Croceas have the highest lighting requirements of all the Tradacnids, and IMO, it was a mistake for you to buy it without knowing what it needed.

As to food, depending on its size, lighting, and placement in the tank, you might not need to feed it anything. However, because you're running PC's, and your ignorance of the animal, I will assume that you don't have adequate lighting, which means that regular supplementation with phytoplankton is your best bet.

Please do not ever buy another animal without checking in on Reef Central first to know what it is you're getting into. Sorry if I'm being harsh, but we've seen this so many times, where people buy animals and kill them through ignorance, that it's what gives our hobby a bad reputation.

with individual reflectors its more than enough provided your tank isn't a deep tank.

Put the clam as high as possible in the tank. If you need to add a piece of live rock to make a stand that will put him 3"-4" from the water level and directly under the bulbs then do it. Adjust your water flow so it isn't getting blasted. Even in this case I would do this as a band-aid and start saving money to buy t-5s or MH lights. Your clam will be much happier and you won't have to worry that it's not getting enough light.

Other tip is pretty standard. Put a shell under the clam to attach to before it attaches to any large piece of rock so you can move him around to find the best spot.
