My foxface is pooping clouds of smoke or so it looks!

Kinda weird...is it normal? Its almost like a really loose jellyfish. He's eating a ton and really active and healthy. Could it be I merely witnessed him taking a number 2?

Does it just dissolve into the water? I'd assume you're just seeing his waste products. My fish, especially my tangs, dont seem to digest the food as well as the other foods, kind of reminds me of cows and horses.

I know mine poop white when I feed mysis, but if I'm just feeding pellets it stays red and almost does look smokey.

One time was I was vegging out in front of my tank, I counted my kole tang's poops. It was like 10 times in less than 20 mins while I was laying on the couch. It also produces a cloud. I refer to it as that he's crop dusting. Lol its normal.

my mandarin does this as well. I am assuming it is just some sand and rock that she picks up when she munches on the pods.

C'mon, you know you do it too. We all are watching our fish as they take a dump. I also bet we are all intrigued by it, or atleast I am. Did I fail to mention I had a pretty obnoxious past as akid? Anyway, admit it...you watch 'em too!!
