Photoperiod
Halides 8 combined hrs.
VHO 12 combined hrs.
Each bulbs has 1/2 hr. down time on the timer to simulates passing clouds. Not too fancy, just an outdoor timer will do.

What is the longest time period any MH is on for? Reason I ask is I am thinking of doing the smae thing. I went to XM 10K's a while ago and the intensity of them has caused a little color loss, I wouldn't say blaeching but it does have me slightly worried. So I am trying to come up with the best time series to put the timers on MH for to simulate shadows/clouds.

Sorry for the confusion there buddy.
What I meant is , one MH on for 6 hrs and a down for 1/2 hr and comes on again for another 2 hrs then off. Another halides on for 4 hrs, 1/2 down time, and on 4 more hrs.
Thats what I meant, 8 hrs total for each halides. Theres a period that all MH on for few hrs. then one goes out, the same application on my VHO, each cycles are different.

Menard what pendants are you running? 400W PFO DE? or are your 14K SE? Which brand of bulb are you using?

I used 400 w DE pendant made by PFO, the bulb is 14k DE Kristal star, PFO also.
