Let's put some setups back on this forum!
This is Andy's 46 bowfront. It's about 5 months old at this point. Still going through its early stages and has a small cyano bloom which he's dealing with (needs more flow yet), but overall I think it looks pretty good :-). This is his first reef by the way. No prior experience.

So come on everyone! Post your tanks too! It doesn't have to be totm quality to be interesting. We need to get something to read about on here besides sale threads!

Thats really good coraline growth for such a young tank. I am sure the cyano bloom is making him unhappy but as long as he knows its part of the process and has more patience than me he will be fine. HAHA

That is a good looking system and nice livestock to boot! The flourescence on the Capnella(I believe) is rather cool.

Tony, what is his maintenance routine and testing regime? I am sure some of the newbies in the society would like to see how he has been successful thus far.

Thanks Rick,
I'm not sure if that's a Capnella or Sinnularia ( my softie id skills are rusty).
The tank really doesn't get any special treatment. 0 tds ro/di water, decent lighting from a current 4 x 39w t5 setup, regular dosing (ca alk and mag - i believe he does it pretty much every day) and regular water changes, fish food in moderation, and a small bag of carbon/phosban in the sump. Seems to work for him since even sps are growing :-)

The cyano is going away. I took some new pics with my droid, but i haven't the faintest idea how to get them from there to the computer...

On my phone when I open a picture in the gallery and push one of the little buttons on the front of my phone and the delete thing comes up also does share and I email it to myself. You can just type in your email address and send it as long as you have the data plan. I am sure depending on which droid you have depends on how the picture functions work.
