I've had my Chiragra for almost 3 weeks and honestly I was really apprehensive about having her, being a very aggressive species and all. But so far she's been the most well behaved inhabitant of the tank. I have about 10 blue legged hermits, 3 astrea snails, 1 emerald crab, a Damsel in the tank right now. She doesn't seem to be interested in any of them ( except when I first put her in the tank, she was looking for something to eat and went after a baby molly that I had in there). I feed her raw tiger shrimp, scallops, squid and some snail meat every couple of days or so. She seems to wait for me to feed herin the morning or evening and comes out of her burrow whenever I'm around and again if she's feeling hungry. I take that as my cue, impale some seafood on a bamboo skewer and she comes right out and goes for it.
I wonder if it's a temperament that lasts indefinitely or are mantes know to change behavior radically. She seems to be almost full grown ( about 8-9 cm) right now.
